Jack DuniganJack is a published author who writes both fiction and nonfiction. He heard about GCWA from the newspaper. He has been writing for almost 40 years for both non-profit and also business. He owns and writes for 4 blogs. Jack feels people and the lives they lead are a rich resource for material. Their experience and location may be familiar, unexciting and mundane to them but they are exotic, interesting and fascinating to a writer. He wants to connect with and gain and grow by association with wordsmiths at GCWA. |

Aurelie ShuleshkoAurelie writes non-fiction. She heard about us from a member of the Naples Writers Group. She wants to network with other writers and learn from the opportunities GCWA offers. She has been profiled in "Women Who Mean Business" and "100 Women to Watch in Chicago." She has drawn from her experiences in the corporate world and is focusing her time on working as a free lance writer. Her background includes development of communication programs for international corporations where she won recognition for her numerous articles, speeches, newsletter, training programs and marketing materials that she delivered to diverse audiences, communicating complex problems with precision and clarity. |

Marianne writes non-fiction. She heard about GCWA through a friend at Toastmasters. She has published Fifty Two Mondays and is currently working on a follow up.

Anita (Nita) DeWeese
Nita writes fiction. She is retired and is interested in learning and brainstorming. She was our 2nd place winner in fiction.
Anita Dennis
Anita is a former member who likes to write poetry. She is currently writing a book about her life as the wife of an African Chief. She came back to the group after missing the company of fellow writers.
Robert McCurdy
Robert learned about GCWA at the Reading Festival. He has published four (4) novels since 2005 in addition to other articles, texts and educational TV.
Terrence (Terry) Terrana
Terry writes nonfiction. He heard about the GCWA from the newspaper. He would like to learn more about writing, publishing and distributing and is currently working on a book. He is a retired 'Stock Richer.' He is pleased to see such a well organized group.

Robert Dornburg
Robert lives in Fort Myers and is a fiction writer. His published piece is entitled Thorn Castle. At present he is working on Windmeer. Robert is a veteran of World War 11 and was employed with American Airlines. He is interested in associating with other writers.
Lori (Lori) Ruhl
Lori resides in Cape Coral. She is presently working on a fiction piece. Lori hopes to find out more about the business side of becoming published.
Tony Tancredi
Tony lives in Ft. Myers. He has been published with a work entitled Sins of the Son. He hopes to gain more information on the subject of writing with likeminded individuals.

Robert Abramson
Robert lives in Estero, Fl. His genre is non-fiction and he looks forward to meetings with other writers. His background includes duties as a newspaper correspondent in Europe, Broadway press agent and a critic covering plays in the Ft. Myers and Sanibel area. Robert has also developed a reputation as a story teller. He would like to join a critique group.
James Ciano
James resides in Lehigh Acres, Fl. His genre is fiction, detective and mystery.
Monica Fish
Monica’s genre is fiction, non-fiction, poetry and screenwriting. She hopes to network with other writers in GCWA. She would like to join a critique group and also attend workshop, speaker programs, reading groups and open mic programs.
Denise Holbrook
Denise’s genre is fiction. She has been published as a reporter for the Hammell Newspapers, a columnist for the Citizen and the Gulf Coast Woman and Doors (Tate Publishing). At present she is working on an adult fiction piece. She hopes to find a critique group within our club and to find an agent. Denise is looking forward to participating in workshops. Speaker programs, networking reading groups and open mic programs will also interest her. She wants to help and has already signed up for hospitality for our meetings.
Sharon Jones
Sharon lives in Ft. Myers Beach.
Robert Peterson
Robert has rejoined GCWA now that he is a resident of the area once again. His genre is fiction and he is interested in the world of writers and publishers and connecting with others in his peer group. Bob is retired from a long career in the insurance industry with focus on the financial side. He spent fifteen years investigating insurance fraud. His current novel is based on that experience. He would like to join a critique group and looks forward to our workshops. Anything related to writing novels will be of special interest to him. He may be able to volunteer with our functions, depending on timing/event.
Richard Willett
Richard in most interested in fiction. He hopes to attend workshops and speaker programs and would like to join a critique group. He will volunteer with speaking and networking, if needed.
Priscilla Wonkka
Priscilla is interested in non fiction, poetry and family biography. She is currently working on a collection of life stories. She is the leader of a large class of people writing their life stories. Priscilla hopes to learn more from the members of GCWA and to improve her own writing and teaching. She is a former teacher and professional musician. She hopes to attend workshops and especially would enjoy non fiction and the writing of real life adventures and memoirs and wants to meet others with the same interests as hers.

Keith Donaldson
Keith writes fiction and plays. He has been published with “Death of an Intern” and “The Hill People” and is currently working on a piece entitled “Rude Awakenings.” He is joining GCWA for the networking aspects of our club. Retired from broadcasting, magazine writing and advertising, Keith now is pursuing playwriting and also volunteers in affordable housing and children’s education. Networking, workshops, critiques groups, reading groups and open mic programs are of special interest to Keith. We welcome him into our club.
Annie Lindstrom
Annie writes non-fiction, poetry and essays. She has been published in Telecommunications Trade magazines, Entrepreneur magazines and poetry journals. She hopes to revive her interest in poetry and meet other writers. Annie plans to do seminars in her career with Prudential Financial. She also tutors English as a second language for Literacy Volunteers of Lee County.
Workshops, speaker programs, networking sessions and possibly a critique group are of special interest to Annie. She remarked that she can hardly wait to get involved with GCWA as opportunities and time present themselves. We are happy to welcome Annie Lindstrom into our club.
David (Dave) Wilcox
David is a returning member to Fort Myers Beach. He writes fiction, poetry and travel.
