10th Annual International Screenplay Competition
$30,000 in Prizes Including $10,000 Cash to the Winner and a Script Development Trip to Hollywood

Greetings!
The American Screenwriters Association (ASA) is pleased to share with you information on our 10th Annual International Screenplay Competition, presented with Gotham Writers' Workshop. We are especially proud of the way we have designed and implemented our competition over the years to provide exactly what screenwriters need...introduction of the finalists' scripts to more than 6,500 producers, agents and managers; cash prizes; personal meetings with production companies; script consultations with leading Hollywood consultants, and so much more!

There's a reason why the number of our entries from around the world have tripled in the past few years. First and foremost we are about screenwriters. Supporting their efforts to be "discovered", offering valuable and practical prizes that advance the writer, and recognition for their accomplishments.

Our 10th annual competition offers a first prize of $10,000 in cash and a script development trip to Hollywood. In addition, every quarterfinalist will receive a script critique by ASA's Hollywood Reader for Studios and Production Companies. And we've added a safe and efficient online entry system so you can spend more time writing and less time copying and standing in line at the post office.

We look forward to reading your script in the 10th Annual International Screenplay Competition.
